Who Prepares the Meals?
Meals are prepared fresh each weekday by our dedicated kitchen staff in our commercial kitchen at 603 E Murray. Our menu is developed by a registered dietician and designed to meet at least 1/3 of the recommended daily nutrient allowance (RDA) for senior adults
Who Delivers the Meals, When?
Each meal is delivered in a microwave-safe container by a trained staff driver or volunteer between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
How much does it cost to receive meals?
There is no charge for eligible clients provided adequate funding is available, but all clients are invited to make a voluntary contribution to share in the costs of providing meals. The suggested contibution is $3.00 per meal. If everyone gives, we can expand serives and continue to avoid a wait list.
For clients not meeting eligibility guidelines, private pay service is available, prepaid at $8.00 per meal.
Our goal is to make sure each client is getting the nourishment they need, and everone who needs services, receives services.
